When you look at the picture above, what places comes to mind?  If you are like most people, you're thinking of Tahiti.  While Tahiti is a beautiful and magical place, it is also a very long day of travel.  If you are considering a stay in an over-the-water villa, why not consider Jamaica instead?  Sandals Royal Caribbean, in Montego Bay, is an adults-only, luxury, all-inclusive resort with a focus on romance.  It is also one of the few places where you can fly for 4-5 hours and stay in an over-the-water villa.  That's where the picture above is from, not Tahiti but Jamaica!

​Riviera Maya is one of my favorite tropical destinations to travel to.  As I sit here on a cold and dreary February day, I’m wishing that I was instead on a beach with a tropical drink in my hand, feeling the warmth of the sun and listening to the crash of the waves.  I’m also wishing that as a professional in the travel industry, I had thought to book myself a February trip there!
