January's Client of the Month is a good friend of mine, Keira R. Keira is an educator, a wife, a mom, and runs the blog, Bad As A Mother. When you are that busy, you have to make sure that the vacations you take are well-planned and to amazing places. Keira's trip to Ireland ticked both of those boxes. Ireland happens to be a favorite place of mine. With it's beautiful countryside, ancient castles, friendly people, and Guinness and Jameson, it's got something for everyone! Here are some of the highlights of Keira's trip. Why did you choose to go to Ireland? I had always wanted to visit the birthplace of my ancestors! What was your favorite day of the trip and why? My favorite day was our trip to the Cliffs of Moher. We got to see the beautiful cliffs and then enjoy a delicious meal at a local pub complete with live music. We took a tour and the ride across the countryside was really beautiful as well. How was the food? Did you have a favorite meal and/or restaurant? We fell in love with the Irish bacon and had it with just about every meal that we could! What was the biggest surprise? The people were so incredibly friendly and helpful even in the city. Was there a least favorite thing about the trip? I wish that the weather was a bit nicer, but we went in April so it was a lot like the east coast. A bit chilly and mostly cloudy. What advice would you give to people traveling there? Give yourself time to explore and wander. We loved getting lost in Dublin and finding cool shops and restaurants that were off the beaten path. What was your most memorable experience? Probably just before we landed. As we looked at the landscape we realized exactly why it is called the Emerald Isle. So much beautiful greenery in all shades! It was really spectacular. Anything else that you'd like to add?
It was easy to take a quick day trip to London and Edinburgh, so if you have some time time, you can hop on a quick flight and check out another city.
