There are a lot of great packing tips out there to help you pack light while remembering to take everything that you need. However, when you're heading to a cold weather destination, it's a little bit of a different ballgame. Especially if that cold weather place is sometimes very cold, windy and snowy but sometimes that very same place is sunny, calm and almost warm. How on earth do you pack everything that you need but stay under the 50 pound luggage weight limit so you're not stuck paying an extra fee at the airport?
They have a saying in Iceland - "There is no such thing as bad weather. There is only bad clothing and bad attitudes!" While I can't help with your attitude, I hope I can help with your clothing! Read on for five of my favorite tips to help you pack for your next cold weather vacation.

April's Clients of the Month are Kristina and Sean G. Kristina and Sean are both very successful and busy professionals. Kristina commutes into New York City for her work and Sean is a sales manager for a Fortune 500 company. They came to me for help in planning their honeymoon. Kristina and Sean weren't looking for the typical relaxing beach honeymoon though - they wanted adventure, they wanted amazing scenery, in a word, they wanted Iceland!
March's Client of the Month is Nancy B. Nancy is not just my client but she is someone that I consider a friend. I met Nancy before I started in the travel business - she and I were both in technology sales. Not only is she a fun and beautiful person (inside and out), but she's smart and has a great energy that you just want to be around. I really do have the best clients!
Nancy decided to go to Egypt last year and the experience changed her life - so much so that she's now traveling the world in a remote work program. If you'd like to follow her on her journey, check out her blog, Nancy From Now On. Read on to learn about Nancy's experience to Egypt in her own words. Planning for your dream vacation can be so exciting — where you’re going to stay, what you’ll see, the shows you’ll take in, all the amazing food you’ll eat.
But what about all your travel documents? Are they all in order? My February Clients of the Month are Lauren and Marshal. They are a fun young couple who came to me for help in planning their 2017 honeymoon. Because they both are ambitious and driven (aka they work a lot), they wanted their honeymoon to be relaxing and luxurious. {Side note for those of you in Connecticut - Lauren is an extremely talented colorist and is opening her own salon on March 1. I definitely recommend checking her out here!}
After talking to them more about what they were looking for, we decided that Riviera Maya would be the perfect destination for them. Riviera Maya is one of my favorite tropical destinations to travel to. As I sit here on a cold and dreary February day, I’m wishing that I was instead on a beach with a tropical drink in my hand, feeling the warmth of the sun and listening to the crash of the waves. I’m also wishing that as a professional in the travel industry, I had thought to book myself a February trip there!
As I've been promoting my group trip to Spain, a lot of the same questions have been coming up. Questions about both traveling to Spain and what it's like to travel in a group. I was considering writing about this but as luck would have it, one of the Spanish tour guides (CEO's) from my travel partner was in the US and agreed to do a video with me. Perfect!
I can spend all day telling you why you should go to Spain, but you don't have to take my word for it. Eva and Simon, who are two of my favorite clients, spent their 2016 honeymoon in Spain. Eva and Simon are both young lawyers, educated, intelligent and a lot of fun. So if they chose Spain for their honeymoon, which is arguably one of the most important trips of one's life, then maybe you should consider it for your next trip.
Read on for their review. (Spoiler alert - they loved it!)
I'm going to Southern Spain this coming May and I cannot wait! As I've been talking about this trip, it has surprised me that there are some people who are not sure why they should visit Southern Spain.
If you are among this group and are not sure why you should travel to Southern Spain, read on for a few of my favorite reasons.
